I am a technologist. I have managed IT for many companies and have developed web sites since the 90s. You can check out some of my tech life at BricksToBits.com.
The garden is a way to get away from the desk and create delicious food that cannot be had any other way. What I grow is chemical free, fresh, and unique.
I start most everything from seed. Usually heirloom seeds.
I grow tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, carrots, beets, squash, peas, leafy greens, muskmelons, watermelons, onions, and asparagus.
I also have a few of blackberries, blueberries, and apples.
I use technology in the garden too. I program Raspberry Pi computers to monitor my earthworms, track conditions for my grafted tomatoes, and even control appliances like freezers to simulate root cellars for food storage.
